Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying
What was Kalyn Ponga thinking? No arms. Full contact. High impact crash. That was a send off every day of the week. Just ask Joey Manu. There was no reason for it either. Billy should have picked Reece Walsh. Not doing so has cost QLD game one, and maybe the series. What a great game. […]
How do you spell go and f**k yourself? First look at the scoreboard, and then look in the mirror. Cleary and Tedesco. There is your answer. Ho ho ho! Kiss my arse. PS – Anyone seen where Maggie went with the dough? Last spotted heading for the airport.
Adman Hamilton has named his current top 10 pacers in Australasia. I beg to differ. Here are Hamilton’s, and then mine, with an explanation as to why. It’s hard saying this a dyed in the wool Queenslander, but I don’t think the Maroons can win the opener in the State of Origin tonight. Poor selections, the Blue dominant record at Accor Stadium, and the form of some of our leading players are the big problem. Leaving Reece Walsh out is madness. Reece […]
Hi Archie, No doubt about it, RWWA gets the Gold Logie when it comes to cowering to the big end of town and tilting the odds in their favour. Race 10 on Friday Night is a 3 year old race, a $21,000 race with “NO NR, PBD MW” listed as the conditions. For the uninitiated, […]
Queensland’s former premier trainer turned racing manager Ben Currie looks to be out of work judging by the above message sent by trainer Billy Healey to stable clients yesterday. Whilst the message doesn’t state it explicitly, the obvious inference is that Healey has sacked Currie from his managerial role at the racing operation, an unexpected […]
Peter Profit Your story on Toowoomba racing starting late. What about the other States? It is a joke, they are always running late. I was always of the understanding that the Stewards were their to ensure that races started on time. And that horses paraded in plenty of time to proceed to the starting gates, […]
Race 5 at the Pinjarra trots this afternoon. The 8 American Eyes is unbeaten in 4 starts and looks like a real good horse in the making. It blows from $1.65 out to $2.10. The 10 horse Captain Said So looked like a good horse earlier on its career, but has finished a pair of […]
You can’t really blame the 23-year-old Maggie for looking at me with lust in her eyes like this, can you? Or her continuing to look at me the same way exactly 30 years to the day later? Or me her either. I love my wife. She’s as hot now as was she was when we […]
How lucky are Grant Dixon and Kevin Seymour? They have pulled the plum draws in all the big races at Albion Park on Saturday night in which their top runners are a hope. Fire and Passion has drawn the pole in the $50 000 Group 3 Breeders Classic final for colts and geldings. Cherries On […]
