Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying
Tom Ison had 24 runners on the 9 race card at Tamworth on Tuesday, making him not quite Ben Yole but well on the way. In shades of Yole, 8 of the 9 starters in race 8 were trained by Ison. All of them were owned by either Summit and Bain, or by his father […]
RELOCATION OF THE TRAINING TRACK This is looming on the horizon and once the court has completed the documentation the next phase of the sale and purchase agreement will be triggered which incorporates a lease back arrangement for the club whilst we look for an alternative block of land to relocate to. Already we have […]
Greyhound trainer Janene Armstrong turned up to the Albion Park race meeting on the 4th of October with two dogs that were significantly underweight, to the point of being the canine version of WW2 POW’s, of which my grandfather was one. It’s a load of palaver. McDonald […]
Dear Archie, A musing more than a criticism tonight. The last race at the TAB meeting at Home Hill yesterday saw significant interference to 8 of the 9 horses. The only horse not interfere with jumps from gate 1, lobs in front and wins. Now, stewards may not have considered these points. Or had consideration […]
Not content with scooping the pool in Tasmania and running 3rd in the Victorian premiership with nary a runner rated over NR60 in either, Ben ‘Chainsaw’ Yole has decided to head to NSW to rape the prizemoney there too. What you see is race 2 at the $15 million track at Wagga on Friday night. […]
