Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying
Dear Mr. Butterfly Thank you for reaching out to HRSA. May I point out this has not been a common practice by you in the past with a number of abhorrent, false, and misleading stories published by yourself in relation to South Australian harness racing in recent times. Shame on you. If you would like […]
A few years back we wrote a story, based on information received from what we regarded as credible sources, about a licensed Victorian trainer/driver having been accused of sexually assaulting a minor. Based on what we had been told, we formed an immediate emotive based conclusion that the licensee was guilty of the matters accused, […]
Central QLD Senior Steward Tate Hudson hasn’t been seen at the races since Mackay Cup day more than a month ago. His absence from the track has sparked various rumors about phones, cones or getting the bone. Not that we’d repeat them of course. QLD’s friendliest Steward has probably just gone on a cruise. If […]
Sam Hyland says that Jamie Kah has to get time for the Letsfacethemusic ride. We agree. Kah’s partner Ben Melham doesn’t. You wouldn’t expect him to though either. The Stewards pinned Cracker for shifting out at the 400m causing interference to both Pinnie and […]
“Most of us have almost had enough to be honest. What was the point of everything we’ve done so far and all the complaints we’ve made. What was it all for?” – Tasmanian licensee Kent Rattray What was it all for? When hearing the news that Tasmanian trot trainer Ben Yole has been granted his […]
Jamie Kah has some big hurdles ahead to jump The news that Jamie Kah has been charged with failing to take all reasonable and permissible measures to secure the best possible placing aboard Let’sfacethemusic in the McNeil Stakes ten days ago should come as a surprise to no-one. Despite the litany of excuses that Kah […]
What happened in race 2 at Newcastle can be shown to you because out of consideration for the injured parties the replay has not been published, which is a decision that we agree with. We can tell you from the Stewards report that Zara Fitzpatrick’s drive Solar Express was checked while racing ungenerously and fell, […]
