Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying
Celine Gaudry – the gal caught out at the BNB with Zahra, Melham, Brown and Kah – enters the scene. She has been sitting outside Le Blanc’s horse, but drops off and allows the other apprentice to come off the fence. Both Chadwick and Stockdale look around to check that she has. Why? Why do […]
So how did Chadwick get from outside the leader to being 4 wide? He steered there, that’s why. Chadwick moved out to allow Le Blanc through. And when he saw she was coming, he stayed wide.

Every club in the country, and people around New Zealand and Australia, contributed to setting up the museum and for the […]
Right in the middle of the time honoured Inter Dominion series the hapless clowns who run the Auckland Trotting Club – the men too afraid to publicly release their Annual Report, for fear of the world viewing the horrors that it contains – have announced their plans to demolish the harness racing Hall of Fame […]
I like to swear, more for emphasis and to challenge boundaries than anything else, and to fit my literary character as the bloke sitting on the bar stool at the Geebung RSL shooting the shit with my mates about racing. But I write for a subscription website and all the readers are over 18. Ben […]
