Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying
This is hot off the press from Lucky Lingard’s ever excellent letsgohorseracing.com.au website. Is it true? We don’t know. But we have been hearing rumors about a split in the Godolphin camp for some time, so part 1 at least seems likely. We prefer not to write about Tony Gollan at all because we don’t […]
This is the training facility of leading US trot trainer Nancy Takter. How bloody good is it? You’d cut off your left leg to have one like it. Winners win. It’s because they spend the money on places like this to make sure they do. Wow. This joint of Nancy’s is sensational.
So just look at this one. It’s Emma Stewart’s strike rate this year across all tracks on the left, and at Bendigo where she scored a double last night on the right. Have you ever seen winning percentages by a large stable like this in your life? What’s even more frightening is that the Stewart […]
The Chris Munce race day treatment inquiry has been left in an absolute mess. It is a train wreck, to put it politely. Munce had been charged and pleaded guilty to a race day treating offence. He was given a 3 month suspension, and appealed it. https://www.racing.com/news/2021-03-24/news-munce-found-guilty-of-raceday-administration#:~:text=The%20Queensland%20Racing%20Integrity%20Commission,He%20was%20also%20fined%20%245000. He was a great footy coach Bob, and a superb judge. My Uncle Bert used to […]
HONG KONG: An Indian-origin businessman has emerged at the centre of a betting scandal in Hong Kong following charges that a well-known Australian jockey gave him racing tips and used him as a conduit for placing bets in violation of the law. Testifying as a witness with immunity from prosecution, Dinesh Kumar Daswani, a Hong […]
Hi Archie, Just saw your headline about Munce hiring a divorce Lawyer. I’m not a Munce fan and I am not defending him on bit, but I though it would be good to set the record straight about his lawyer Geoffrey Sinclair. Geoff actually owns a lot of horses with Chris, and while Geoff is […]
We have been telling you for 2 1/2 years now that harness racing trainer Jason Grimson is a cheat, and we told you well before he ever came to major prominence by winning 2 Inter Dominions in a row with big striding, leggy horses that had been plucked out of claimers. His mate Jack ‘Turbo’ […]
The whole world knows that Jill Grimson has a hate on for Tim Butt, and that he had a client buy the pacer Swayzee for him on the sneak out of Butt’s stable, for the sole purpose of sticking it up Butt’s arse. Well he has achieved that alright, but was the win in the […]
Just 16 days ago Tasmanian greyhound trainer Anthony Bullock – the grub who shoots Ben Yole’s unwanted pacers, hangs their bodies from trees to bleed them out, cuts them up with chainsaws and then feeds them to his hounds – was gifted an extended kennel license despite having operated in breach of the rules and […]
