Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying
The Emma Stewart of Sydney harness racing Jason ‘Jill’ Grimson had a huge night out at Menangle yesterday winning all four races his stable contested, and driving three of them too. Unusually most of Grimson’s winners were at big odds. $13.00, $11.00, $6.50 and $1.33 they started. Their were some very weird runs by some […]
As we reported , NSW’s leading trainer Jason Grimson was directed to attend a Steward’s Inquiry after driving in race 6 at Albion Park last week, and failed to do so. To describe it metaphorically by using a colloquialism, Grimson spat in the QRIC stipes face. They just wiped the golly away, and allowed him […]
JD Hayes and Dakotah Keane, pictured above at last night’s Victorian Racing Awards I am a bit confused. I’m quite sure that I saw jockey Dakotah Keane out one night arm in arm with one of the Hayes boys when I was down on one my regular racing trips to Melbourne, not sure which, or […]
In a case that has taken an inordinate amount of time to hear, Racing NSW Stewards on Friday disqualified Gosford trainer Greg McFarlane for 2 years and 6 months after his horse Bremel threw a positive swab to EPO in an out of competition test conducted in February 2025. After many delays the trainer finally […]
Archie, Billy and other trainers should be overjoyed about Tanya Parry turning up with her 31 starters for the Isa’s big Thursday Rodeo Race Meeting . Take her horses out and you’re left with 2 × 2 horse races, 2 × 3 horse races , a 4 horse race and a 5 horse race. Yep, […]
Julia Creek trainer Tanya Parry turned out 31 of the 50 runners at yesterday’s Mt Isa race meeting, but her sheer weight of numbers didn’t translate to much success. The only rwo winner on the card that she trained was in the first race, in which she had every horse in the field, and the […]
We have written on many occasions about the long-term dangers posed to racing in QLD’s country north-west by one trainer – Tanya Parry – holding such a numerical dominance in racing in the region by virtue of the sheer number of tried, failed and recycled horses she accumulates cheaply from all over the place without […]
This is a story about a poorly bred 2yo pacer named Oh Its On. It sure is, and it’s red hot. Oh Its On has three starts for NSW trainer Michael Hardy. It runs 6th, 3rd and 4th, at Bathurst, Bathurst and Young. The fastest time it runs in any of them is 1.56.1 when […]
Check out the last race at Albion. Grimson is a bigger f**king miracle worker than Jesus. Started at $18 last run at Young going 1.58.0. Not 3 f**king weeks later and the c**t starts at $1.30 going 1.51.9 at Albion Park. How can they not stop this bloke, honestly. Everyone know its not right, all […]
