Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying
Ben Yole trained 60 of the 86 runners on eight race card at Launceston last night. That is more than 2 out of every 3 starters. Yole trained the card. With a weight of those numbers it was inevitable that he’d do so some day. A whole lot of people are praising Chainsaw and patting […]
Tasmania’s leading greyhound trainer and king of cruelty Anthony Bullock is noticeably absent for the 2nd meeting this week. Bullock never misses a meeting. There is a big storm blowing, but for the moment I can’t tell you why. Watch this space though. And batten down the hatches.
Tasmania’s premiership winning greyhound trainer Anthony Bullock, the man who hangs Ben Yole’s shot horses from trees to drain their blood before cutting them up with a chainsaw and feeding them to his dogs, always has multiple entries at each greyhound meeting that held in the State. There is a meeting at Launceston tonight. Bullock […]
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Socialist. Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a […]
I have no Guinness Book of Records at hand, and the 50 years worth of harness racing yearbooks are stored over at the clubhouse at the long closed track, so I can’t be sure, but I reckon Ben Yole might has set a world first in harness racing last night at Launceston. The first trainer […]
These are genuine photograph’s of Ben Yole’s training establishment in northern Tasmania. How on earth do the Tasmanian welfare authorities allow him to get away with treating racing standardbred horses like this? It’s shameful.
The mail is that talented Tasmanian harness racing trainer/driver Conor Crook has applied for and been granted 16 boxes at the newly constructed Shepparton Training Centre in Victoria, if and when it is ever completed (more on that later). His move can’t come quick enough for Tassie punters, who to a person are sick and […]
https://www-harness-org-au.akamaized.net/vic/KIC09062211.mp4 Coming into race 4 at Kilmore last night the Chainsaw Yole trained 10-year-old pacer Southern GNP had won just 1 race from his previous 34 starts over the past year, most of the runs being down in lowly company in Tasmania. The single win was eight months ago against very poor company in 30-44 […]
There is nothing like a trip across the stormy seas of the Bass Strait to spark an old walker back to life, but don’t tell anyone that because all of a sudden all the seats on the ferry will be booked out by Lourdes style pilgrims and Ben Chainsaw Yole won’t be able to bring […]
Tasmanian trainer Nathan Ford has been suspended or disqualified more times than most people have had hot dinners. Brawls, urine swaps, pull ups, crash and bangs, you name it, he’s done it, and served the time for it too. It’s fair to say he’s not the most straight up and down licensee that you will […]
