Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying
Do you recall our recent series of stories about trainer Ricky Gordon the mare presented to race at Albion Park as a gelding? If not, you can read them here. https://peterprofit.com/?s=ricky+gordon Well finally the Stewards have released their inquiry findings about the matter, including the charges and penalties dished out to those involved. Or some […]
Take a look what happened in race 8 at Young last night. The leader – no 8 in the pink saddlecloth – galloped for about half the length of the straight. It got the photo, but had to be relegated or disqualified. And given the blanket finish it should have gone back to 5th, if […]
Wanna see a killer drive? Killer as in dead, deliberately or by mistake. Then Kylah Madden’s steer below on Chief Copy – who was backed off the map from $4.60 into $1.90, and even shorter in some quarters – is the one. Now call me chivalrous, or old fashioned, or gentlemanly, or even sexist if […]
Following the running of this race it was established that a member of the public had entered the racetrack and positioned herself close to the inside running rail near the 300 metres. Gossip is also circling […]
Young Western Apprentice Tara Atherden had a day to remember at Carnarvon yesterday, where she rode the winners of two-thirds of the card. Atherden, who only made her racetrack debut 2 months ago, came into yesterday having won just 1 from her first 35 rides, but that was never going to be a worry or […]

Basically the class system is based on how many wins a horse has had. A maiden winner becomes a Class 1 because it has won one race, a Class 1 winner becomes a Class […]
As we reported , NSW’s leading trainer Jason Grimson was directed to attend a Steward’s Inquiry after driving in race 6 at Albion Park last week, and failed to do so. To describe it metaphorically by using a colloquialism, Grimson spat in the QRIC stipes face. They just wiped the golly away, and allowed him […]
