Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying
See that horse on the outside’s wheel, and where it is? You can’t do that. It has come straight over on top of the horse on its inside, in flagrant breach of the rules. The horse is Bondi Lockdown, and this is the Group 1 3YO Colts and Geldings Final of the Vicbred Super Series […]
The showcase night of the Victorian harness racing year ended up as nothing but a demonstration of the utter contempt that the leader of our industry hold for the welfare of our racing animals. It was an orgy of animal cruelty from whoa to go, and David Moran was one of the stars of the […]

Do you notice something missing in this Stewards Report from race 3 at Ballarat on Sunday above? The penalty. That’s because there wasn’t one. Not a fine, not a suspension, not even a reprimand rap on the knuckles. That’s outrageous. Craig Demmler came over and in on the leader here when he was clearly not […]
Don’t ever say that little Al Ashwood is not a kind and caring guy. He may have a few issues with anger management, and a lot to learn about how to respect and treat women, but to his owners both current and former he is generous to fault, or so it seems anyway. Little Al […]
Do you remember the story we wrote about the rumoured return of the fence jumpers last week, and how we put forward the proposition that to eradicate any doubt about whether horses well in the market who perform like mules were got at, any horse who is given a big chance in the betting then […]
