Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying
Watch these two crazy drivers go toe to toe in the first part of race 4 at Leeton on Tuesday night. Tom Downey and Steven Pike are the reinsman’s names. Both were driving rating 49 horses, which means they were very weak grade commodities. Their maniacal tactics resulted in the pair running through the lead […]
New Zealand’s most successful female driver in history Sam Ottley bagged a mammoth 5 winners at Westport on yesterday’s 12 race card. I can’t remember any female driver in NZ kicking home that many winners on a single card, although Natalie Rasmussen may possibly prove me wrong. Either way it’s a great effort by Ottley […]
https://www-harness-org-au.akamaized.net/nsw/NRC08032410.mp4 Take a look at race 6 here last night at Newcastle. Jack Callaghan is driving the one on the inside Coral Stride, Bailey McDonough was steering the horse outside of it Celestial Gossip. Neither driver gave their horse any hope whatsoever of winning the race, or even running a place. This pair drove like […]
Take a look at the drive of John Kriechbaumer on the favorite Benjamin Button – the horse in the predominantly white colors – in the race below. What was this clown doing? Benjamin Buttons should have won by panels, and would have too if J. Kriechbaumer had driven him with any degree of competence. I […]
Watch Nathan Dawson in the white 3 back the fence. See how he knocks down the horse on the outside of him when he veers out underneath him as he pushes out into the clear? Dawson’s horse was backed for a stack. By the way he drove it N. Dawson was clearly in for a […]
It’s no secret that WA drivers Gary Hall Jr and Maddie Brown are partners in their personal lives, which is why that when Hall does something in a drive on track that advantages Brown to the exclusion of everyone else it attracts so much scrutiny and why people are wont to question Perth’s leading driver’s […]
It’s hard to guess what Adam Richardson was thinking when he pulled the $2.80 favorite Racketeer off the leaders back and into the 1-1 on the back of Allmighty Max in the death seat That pacer had done a power of work in the run and isn’t known as one who can do that and […]
The word out of Tasmania is that one of the Ben Yole drivers who only a couple of days ago won his appeal against being warned off has thrown a personal positive swab to cocaine at the Hobart trots tonight? They say the trainer – last name Ford, first initial M – was given the […]
I don’t know about you, but I didn’t see driver Aiden De Campo trying to activate any gear on the horse outside the leader Navy Street when his foot slipped and made contact with its hind leg in the straight in this race at Gloucester Park on Friday night. What I saw was a driver […]
Junior Kiwi driver Riley Harrison on Judine got over the top of her boss John Dunn’s drive Fergalicious to win the last race at Ashburton yesterday. Those in the know reckon it’s the first time that the young reinswoman has come first when tangling head to head against Lurch. They say it gave her great […]
