Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying
I gave Nathan Jack a huge wrap for his drive on Mach Dan, and I will give him another one for his steer on his Dad’s horse Just Hope in the NSW Oaks last night too. This bloke is a freak. He gets tipped out for years on what now appear to be bodgie charges, […]
You would go a long way to see a better example of brilliant aggressive driving than Jack Trainor’s demolition job on Stylish Memphis in the Group 1 mares race at Menangle tonight, and even then you might not find it. It was sheer genius. Guts, balls and glory. Turbo shot the gate, and then took […]
Following a tipster is all about keeping the faith. The first two races of the night aren’t the only, and there are plenty more the next day. Here is how we cost out our punting for the night. 1 unit EW the 3 tips = $6.00 1 unit box Quinella = $3.00 1 Unit box […]
Not every horse can swim. And due to budget cut backs the Steward’s inflatable Zodiac power boat has no petrol.
We have a very weird day of racing ahead of us sports fans, with Randwick rain sodden and get heavier by the second, Doomben drenched and off, and Morphetville just plain awful, meaning that most of the betting action is going to be focused on Caulfield, where 3 of the 9 races boast less than […]

Barclay’s offence was cutting the corner and going […]
Many good judges I know claim that Jack ‘Turbo’ Trainor is the best driver in NSW, and they are not far wrong at that, although for mine Luke McCarthy and young Jack Callaghan have a head or so on him, and a long one at that. There is doubt however that Turbo knows all the […]
Race 7 at the Ascot Park Invercargill trots last night was the hottest race in the world this week, the world being New Zealand. There were two heavily backed horses in the race: Mabalene, driven by Brad Williamson, which firmed from $10 into $7; and Show Me Heaven, steering by Tim Williams, which was $3.20 […]
