Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying

Have you ever seen two better games of footy in your life than the pair we saw today on Easter Monday. 84 712 people packed the MCG to witness an absolute classic between Hawthorn and Geelong. A see-saw affair where the lead swapped a million times, the noise of the crowd could be heard from […]
Greg Eurell is quite a distinguished racehorse trainer. He has won multiple Group 1 races with Apache Cat, and a Cox Plate with Pinker Pinker. Eurell has an all but spotless reputation, and we don’t seek to besmirch it. But if what the police are saying is true – and we don’t have an opinion […]
Archie We are talking Nanango here. A punter has $250 @3.5. $550 return is printed on ticket incorrectly. The punter didn’t realise until after the race. He fronts the bookie. The Bookie says that the price was $3.00. So if correct the face value of the ticket should be $750 if that was truly the […]
The rail is off at Randwick, especially as the track deteriorates. Any fool can see that. Craig Williams didn’t. This clown steered the favorite in the last Inkaruna to the inside. He might as well have slit its throat. Granted Inkaruna didn’t finish the race off well, and might have had an issue. But it […]

Word is filtering through from the south that a former Victorian trainer Grant Dalziel and former Victorian jockey Brian Park have been pinched by police over a billion dollar cocaine importation. Neither was much chop on the track. It appears they are not much better at importing coke. Winners win. This pair have lost. They […]
I had a call from our man Dirk tonight. You know him, the world’s greatest fan of The Janitor, the bloke I bagged the bejesus out of until I became a convert to cleaning, which took a while. Dirk demanded an apology for me saying he was an idiot for claiming that The Janitor was […]
Thanks to public holidays the Doctor has been forced to deliver early this week. The dedicated track walker is not happy about it either. We think she’s worrying unnecessarily. Dr Whiting is the best of the best when it comes to tipping winners. Good Friday delays won’t stop her. God bless.
