Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying
By Adam Hamilton 10:43am • 28 June 2022 TOP trainer Grant Dixon thinks his outstanding three-year-old Leap To Fame is a false favourite for the $305,000 Group 1 Rising Sun. I wonder if trot writer Adam Hamilton ever checks the betting markets before he writes stories about them. This one published on Racenet yesterday works on […]
Scott Steele is the CEO of the Albion Park Harness Racing Club. Court 20 in Brisbane is a criminal court. What the hell is he doing there? I guess we might find out this afternoon.
I wonder why the CEO of Albion Park is banned from going to the races at Eagle Farm? You would have thought a race club boss would be on the VIP list wouldn’t you? Especially one who used to hold a senior executive position with the host race club, and was for years a permanent […]

Stars one and all. This is a good horse’s race. […]

I never watched Dr Who. It was too weird for me. People I knew did though, and they were forever talking about this time machine called the Tardis that was shaped like a telephone box with a police sign written on it. I always thought it was just part of the whacko sci-fi tale enjoyed […]
“I’ve really enjoyed my time on the board. I’ve seen many changes most of them good and for the betterment of the harness racing industry. Being on the journey of seeing The Creek evolve was a highlight.” Mr Ellis said. Paul ‘Flathead’ Ellis has achieved wonderful things during his 16 years on the board at […]
