Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying
While all the eyes of the harness racing world are quite rightly on the Kilmore Cup tonight, their is a very interesting battle going at Menangle, one which might tell us a bit more about next weekend’s Hunter Cup. I am talking Don Lou against Himynameisjeff. Jeff is an exceptionally good horse ran a huge […]
I was researching a story about the top class pacer Himinameisjeff last night, and I came across this claimer’s race from just over three years ago when he was trained by Russell Jack in which he ran tailed off stone motherless last. That of course raises questions about how Jason Grimson managed to get him […]
I could have sworn that trot trainer Clayton Harmey said he was quitting the game after he got done for a positive swab to Levamisole about 18 months back. In fact fact after he was DQ’s until August 2025 I am certain that he did. Harmey even went as far as selling all his sulkies […]
Cherries On Top was probably a false favorite at $2.25 to win race 6 at Albion Park yesterday. The filly was drawn well in 2 but is a slow beginner, and was up in class. But based on her two recent wins at Redcliffe punters had a right to believe that she would be driven […]

Dr Whiting has been hard at work doing the tips for us at Caulfield today. You could charge admission just to watch her pick winners. As always, good luck and have a winning day.

That’s what Melinda Gates used to describe the culture of brutal exploitation of young women and girls by some of the world’s most powerful men, enabled by the dark arts of billionaire […]
In 1952 Queen Elizabeth assumed the throne after her old man carked it. It wasn’t until later that she married a Greek and spawned Andrew the sicko. Never forget that his older brother used to have fantasies about tampons, and preferred an old boiler to Princess Di. Weird family them. Bob Marley was born today. […]
The winner of the last race at Addington yesterday Roger That looks like a nice horse. Both figuratively and literally. It’s very well bred too, being a relation to Cyclone Jordy, Sanchez and multiple Group 1 winner Don Hugo. And it is a good sort. But there is a back story to it. Graeme Rogerson […]
The last time Republican Party raced against Leap To Fame in the NZ Free For All, his driver Carter Dalgety – the most talented young reinsman since Dexter Dunn – got to the lead first but then handed up. He couldn’t catch him down the straight. It’s pretty hard to when Larry is roaring home […]
