Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying
Cameron Ross is the Aung San Suu Kyi of NSW harness racing, a person persecuted in ways that boggle the mind. Two years ago a horse trained by the Victorian licensee Greg Norman threw a positive swab to the substance Dexamethasone. Norman got a $5000 fine with $4000 of it suspended, meaning that his real […]
See this Stewards summary? Matthew Craven was fined $200 for unacceptable whip use in the Singo. He’s been flucked by a fairy. Watch this. Craven is on the leaders back. Luke McCarthy is behind him on Dangerzone. Have a look what happens. Do you see what I see? The Steward’s didn’t. It must be those […]
Just last week we told you about Fletch Maguire, the walker from Kiwiland who came to OZ and improved by half the length of the strait. The once weak gutted cat from Aotearoa improved even more in the space of the past 7 days. Kiwi Horses That Suddenly Grow Legs – Summit and Bain Would […]
Race 8 Globe Derby. Six horse field. The market opens with Cyclone S Adams $1.90. It blows out the door to $3.30. Uncle Louis is $2.70. It drifts to $3.20. Hurricane Ed is $4.80. There is a little bit of dough for it but not much, and it lands at $3.70 at the jump. Magic […]
They were all dressed up with nowhere to go at Shepparton tonight. The rock star didn’t turn up. There was no sign of Captain Ravishing at all. I am guessing he was held up by roadworks, or maybe the float broke down. That’s only speculation of course. Ahmed Taiba might be working him at home […]
Yeah bro, I did have to bring Aaron Bain into it, and I will tell you exactly why. Bain and/or his business partners Summit Bloodstock or its principals Jamie Durnberger-Smith and Jake Webster owned 20 horses that raced at Hobart on the night of the fateful accident. All of them, each and every one, was […]
If you ever needed proof that Ben Yole is a low-life grub then this is it. 20-year-old Bronte Miller has been charged over the crash in late January that injured she and a number of other young harness racing kids. Miller been charged with two counts of causing grievous bodily harm to another person by […]
A 20-year-old former employee of Australia’s leading harness racing trainer Ben Yole, who crashed a car towing an unregistered horse float — injuring passengers and killing four horses — has been charged by Tasmania Police. The white Ford Ranger was towing the loaded horse float when it crashed on the Batman Highway at Rowella, north […]
Kellie Kersley was once a superstar of the track. One night back in the 1990’s when she was in her 20’s she drove four winners from four one night at Gloucester Park, and then the very next week came out and drove five winners from five, the very first time that a female driver had […]
Take a look at this for a joke. It’s the final race at Redcliffe last night. The $1.45 fave gallops. Other runners are interfered with. But the races have been delayed almost an hour due to the blown lights after race 1, and starter and the stewards want to go home. So they let them […]
