Take a look at what happens here in the last race at Victoria Harbour yesterday afternoon. Officials at the track say that the mobile lost power. Many say that the barriers weren’t tested before take 2 of the start. Fortunately if they are correct. then the arm started properly second time around. It still should […]
In the 10 years between 2005 and 2015 SA harness trainer Lou Trotta spent 66 weeks suspended or disqualified for various conduct related offences. Since then his reord looks something like this: 5/12/16 – Abuse 3 licensees and a Steward – 12 month disqualification 29/3/2017 – Drive in a race while under the influence of […]
The alarm on our crystal ball just started beeping and flashing red. When we ran over to check what the ball knew it spat out a weird prediction. What it told us was that Ryan Hryhorec would encounter problems getting My Ultimate Levi to the Broken Hill track to run in Friday night’s Cup, and […]

Harry Ovens was backed as if unbeatable in the 3rd race at Globe Derby tonight. When old Jakes Sportwriter went to the front and planted Harry stranded on his back the plunge looked lost. And then this happened. Did the junior driver Declan Whelan simply stuff up by making a mistake? Probably. But gee it […]
South Australian harness racing is on the up and up, and is absolutely flying. That’s the guts of the message that HRSA CEO sent out to industry participants last week. Few believe it. Look at the TAB meeting at Mt Gambier last night to see why. There were 6 races on the card, but only […]
