Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying
Owners Scott and Jodie Whitton have the right to feel mighty upset after their horse Sir Fahrenheit missed out by a point on a starting place in the ID25 Trot final field. Sir Fahrenheit had finished 4th in its first heat and 9th in its second, accumulating 13 points which tied it with Kiwi trotter […]
For those of you who were wondering how the hell Royal Supremacy turned around its recent form of 14th of 14 beaten 5.88 lengths at Scone then 11th of 14 beaten 11.8 lengths at Randwick to win the 6th race yesterday at the same track, the answer is simple. Ciaron Maher took off the Norton […]
The word out of Alexandra Park is that Auckland Trotting Club chairman Jamie ‘ Watches’ Mackinnon is being paid a six-figure sum to act as a consultant to the club. A consultant on what? No-one seems to know. You’d certainly hope its not successful property developments or real estate deals. Mackinnon’s consulting role was never […]
Archie Leap To Fame the best in the world you say? Maybe, but then maybe not, he wins easily but what is he beating? Bulldog Hanover was beating high class older horses when he went on his 4 weeks in a row speed streak with the 1.45.4 m (1.45. 8 or 9 here) and he […]

It was all the Victorian visitor Atua Magic and his junior driver Ryan Sanderson’s fault. Sanderson couldn’t control his wayward horse, which took over […]

Leap To Fame is the best horse in the world. He would pick the leading American horses up and carry them, especially over a distance. Larry’s local opposition aren’t in the same league. They are not even in the same stratosphere. Last night Leap To Fame ran a mile rate of 1.53.7 in his heat […]
