Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying
Corrie Knack is the McMullen, Dawson and Elkin’s cousin. He is an interesting bloke. We are not sure exactly what qualifications that the one time trot trainer and now Racing QLD trot handicapper has to be an expert in uniquely tailored nutritional supplements and stem cell treatment. There are no degrees listed on his Linkedin […]
We are absolutely blessed in Australia to have such fantastic race callers, particularly so at the trots. Richard Bell in Perth is the Fortune Teller. Hill is a great judge of pace, tempo and form of what a horse can do, and regularly calls the winner up to 1000m out. Never misses a photo either. […]
Jason Grimson was reportedly wild about Kingman being given a wildcard into the Miracle Mile ahead of his horse Rakero Rocket, and who on earth could blame him? Rakero Rocket as run 2nd in one qualifier, and 3rd in another. Kingman competed in just one qualifier, and finished second last after leading, well behind Rakero […]
The Stewards called Lindsay Hatch in for a please explain about his decision to scratch his two entrants from the Darryl Gollan Classic yesterday just hours after acceptances had closed, and before he had even declared jockey to ride them. An obvious suspicion would be that Tony Gollan was eager to have the race that […]
Archie There seems to be a real on-pace bias with the Gold Coast track. I have been noticing it for a while. Here are yesterday’s stats: Race 1 Unfaithful 5th in running Race 2 Tarps lead Race 3 Memoria lead Race 4 Ciphertext lead Race 5 Boss Mode 2nd in running Race 6 on the […]
We said in out story this morning that HRNSW made what we considered to be the wrong decision to included Kingman in the Miracle Mile field. It wasn’t them we are told, it was Club Menangle. Apologies to HRNSW. Credit where credit is not due. Putting Kingman in the field on the basis of running […]
Jaden Lloyd, like his little brother Zax, has got all the ability in the world, but unfortunately as we have said several times lately, he is pissing his talent down the toilet, and we don’t understand why. If I had the talent to be Tommy Berry, why would I want to end up a jockey […]

The impr0vements in time by horses trained by the cousins or cuzzies-in-law the nobody Mitch Dawson, the bum Matt Elkins, his ordinary performed wife Narissa Elkins nee McMullen, and her brother Pete and his bowler wife Chantal is just becoming ridiculous. How can you possibly explain what is going on in sensible terms? Tiger Band […]
“He is a champion from head to toe!” caller Fred Hastings cried after Leap To Fame sat it the death and won his Miracle Mile qualifier in 1.48.6 last night, and Fred was absolutely right. He is a champion. From head to toe. Only a champion could do what Larry did. Chase a Dream […]
