The shoe repair man from Sydney who struck it big in the 4 leg multi at Albany is not quite the straight path walker that he pretends to be.
In fact I wouldn’t back him to be able to lie straight in bed.
His weekly punting limit is $200 the shoe man reckons.
He might tell his wife that, but it’s a bare faced lie.
She obviously doesn’t use Twitter.
Old mate does.
He tweets all his bets so that all his mates – i.e. no-one usually – can look at them.
We can too.
Here is just a small selection of them that the shoemaker placed in just 5 days between the 16th and the 20th of April, BEFORE he had the win.
The outlay on these bets alone adds up to over three grand in less than a week, and there are many more.
A budget of $200 a week for the punt?
Puh-lease.
The shoe maker told a Current Affair that he was going to use the winnings to buy a unit.
I will walk naked through Martin Place upside down if he does.
Look at where he is betting.
The English and Scottish hurdles.
You have to feel sorry for his poor, trusting, unsuspecting missus don’t you?
We all know where this is headed.
And the train is moving fast.
