Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying
An import having its first WA start for trainer Michael Young started $2.00 favorite in race 2 at Gloucester Park last night. Why that’s remarkable is that the horse – name Our Thunder – was a rating 30 walker with form of 79 starts for just 2 wins – the most recent of them 63 […]
You can get into the Windsor Enclosure at Royal Ascot for fifty bucks. Peter V’Landys charges $50 to get into the public area for The Everest too. It’s a bit more expensive to go to Flemington for the Melbourne Cup. The cheapest tickets are $90.75 None of these major race day event ticket prices has […]
Remember the short clip we showed you the other day of WA reinsman Ryan Bell reverse head butting the horse behind him, and startling or hurting it so much that it galloped? Here it is if again if you need a reminder. Bell is on the horse in front on the inside in the red […]
Watch the driver of the leader in the inside Ryan Bell. See what he does to the horse behind him. Whack! Take that son! I suspect Mr Bell may be going for an unplanned holiday in the morning. Head butting horses just isn’t on.

Pearl popped her head out from under the brolly down at Pinjarra today during race 9. What she saw through the driving rain was interesting. It had already been a bad day with the pension cheque disappearing courtesy of a very confident drive on the justifiably odds on favourite in the Trotters Cup when Betty […]
Questions are being asked by everybody about the driving tactics of reinswomen Maddison Brown on Relatively Arma in the Westbred 4&5YO Mares race at Gloucester Park on Friday night. Everybody except of course the Koala loving Stewards. The issue relates to Brown’s refusal to hand up the lead on the $10.00 shot Relatively Arma early […]
I take back the harsh things we said about WA trainer Giles Inwood yesterday. He made a mistake and he’s owned it. Inwood has acknowledged he did the wrong thing. Apologies have been issued to the reinswomen he offended. The Facebook post has been taken down. It takes guts to cop one on the chin. […]
Hi Archie, Re; The protest at Bunbury trots last Saturday night. First of all, there is no mention of the protest in the race results. Secondly, the stewards report states the protest was fourth against second (see picture at top of story). Thirdly, if you watch the replay, the interference is caused by Kyle Harper […]
