Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying
Young Western Apprentice Tara Atherden had a day to remember at Carnarvon yesterday, where she rode the winners of two-thirds of the card. Atherden, who only made her racetrack debut 2 months ago, came into yesterday having won just 1 from her first 35 rides, but that was never going to be a worry or […]
Take a look at race 4 at Gloucester Park last night and keep your eye on Chris Voak, the driver of number 1 Maximum Rock. Have you ever seen anything like this before? The gear malfunctioned, and no matter what Voak tried to do he couldn’t rectify the situation. Maximum Rock lost 5th place on […]
Archie Re: Pearl and Chester claiming that Pinjarra is getting lights What Did Ever Happen to That Crazy Scrambled Egg of an Idea of Selling Prime Waterfront Land at Gloucester Park Off To Their Mates? – Chester and Pearl Ask the Hard Boiled Questions What a load of bollocks. Pinjarra isn’t getting lights and won’t […]
Remember the madcap scrambled egg proposal to sell Gloucester Park’s prime Swan River land off to a property development company part owned by one of the then club Director’s sons? WA harness racing stalwarts Chester and Pearl remind us. https://peterprofit.com/?s=gloucester+park+sale ————————————— Hi Archie, Chester and I fired up the Ford Prefect and headed up the […]
I mean no disrespect to WA driver Michael Munro as either a man or a good human being, which I am sure that he is; but dead set Munro should have his license pulled. This drive of his on Paraquet in the 2nd race at Gloucester Park last night was an absolute disgrace. Munro either […]

Number 3 Strike Force has been backed late from $15.00 into $7.50, and according to our mail from the corporates has been coupled up in multis and exotics for plenty. Kyle Harper drives it. He is the son of the multiple disqualified cheat Lindsay Harper. […]
Willie Pike is an outstanding jockey, with one of the best strike rates in the land. Sometimes I wonder about some of his rides though. This one on Herault in race 8 at Belmont was one of them. Herault was backed from $2.40 into $1.95. Willie rode it rather weirdly. He let the winner Antique […]
Hi Archie, No doubt about it, RWWA gets the Gold Logie when it comes to cowering to the big end of town and tilting the odds in their favour. Race 10 on Friday Night is a 3 year old race, a $21,000 race with “NO NR, PBD MW” listed as the conditions. For the uninitiated, […]
Race 5 at the Pinjarra trots this afternoon. The 8 American Eyes is unbeaten in 4 starts and looks like a real good horse in the making. It blows from $1.65 out to $2.10. The 10 horse Captain Said So looked like a good horse earlier on its career, but has finished a pair of […]
