Whatever Happened to the Retention Barn? – The Secure Facility That Causes Horses to Throw Positive Swabs

For every year as far back as I can remember runners in either the Miracle Mile or the NSW Derby were held in the Menangle retention barn for two and a half days prior to their big Group 1 race, under 24/7 watch and guard.
