Racing Queensland have issued the statement above in relation to the tragic death of my mate Tracy Kunde.
If you didn’t know the circumstances and you read this, you’d think Trace had topped himself.
He didn’t.
The big man died of a heart attack.
Racing people spent half an hour trying to revive him, but it was too late.
These heroes deserve and need support to deal with the trauma.
But it is not hard to pick up a phone and talk to them directly.
This statement put out by RQ is just disgusting.
Where is the respect?
They don’t even acknowledge Tracy’s life and his achievements, they just ignore it completely.
Racing Queensland extends its condolences to the Kunde family, along with his friends and fellow participants.
I’m one of them.
