The newly announced million dollar Carnival of Cups bonus for any horse that can win all five Cups run at Albury, Young, Tamworth, Parkes and Penrith – with half a million for a horse that wins four, or a quarter of a million for three – is a hugely exciting initative, particularly given that the series is open to any horse from anywhere, and not just restricted just to those trained in NSW or even in Australia.
