Harness Racing NSW Leads the Way in Gender Neutral and Trans SportingEquity

PBD/Sex means preferential draw based on gender, not how many times you get it away

At a time when a storm is raging in world sport about whether gender neutral and trans athletes should be allowed to compete in the male or female sporting category of their choice, Harness Racing NSW has elected to do the rainbow N. Jack colours and put it’s stake firmly in the ground.

Good on them too.

We need leaders in this levelling the playing field game, and HRNSW are it.

From here on in, all 2YO Fillies races are open to all comers.

The only rider is that there is a preferential draw based on sex.

We await the release of the new handicapping guidelines for the gender neutral and trans friendly trotting world, but we are sure they will be fair, and we welcome them warmly.

Let’s just hope that John Dumesny and the team have time to build the unisex toilets so they are ready for Saturday’s Miracle Mile.

Turbo has declared that he will be the first in to cut the ribbon.

Apparently Nathan Jack’s quite upset.

What a muppet.

They can both go together.
