EXCLUSIVE: Racing NSW Ban Chynna Marston From Having Retired Racehorses in Her Care

In a sensation Sky Racing personality Chynna Marston has this week been placed on the Racing NSW exclusion due due to animal welfare concerns.

As a person on the exclusion list Marston is not permitted to be provided with any retired thoroughbred that has been domiciled in NSW for the majority of their life, or have any such horse in her custody, care or control.

The reason relate to animal welfare concerns about Marston, but the precise details of why are unknown.

The ban comes as somewhat of a shock to the industry given Chynna Marston’s prominent role as the founder of the thoroughbred rehoming charity Recycled Racehorses, and long time hands on role with the charity.

We are making inquiries to attempt to establish what is behind all this, and how this will affect her employment with Sky Racing, and will advise immediately when we find out anything.
