Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying
In the stuff up of all stuff ups, betting on Saturday’s new $4 million WA slot race the Quokka was this afternoon suspended pending an inquiry into irregularities with the barrier draw. It turns out what happened is that midway through the draw Uncommon James barrier was by mistake called out as Massimo’s, and all […]
Believe it or not, these are the official promotional logos for Racing and Wagering Western Australia’s brand new triple code slot races run on the same weekend brainstorm. This is what happens when you put a bunch of government bureaucrats in charge of a war chest and set them loose. WA racing is throwing over […]
Rival trainer Steve Wolfe was a bit bullish on the weekend after Amelia’s Jewel beat him. He claimed the Bob Peters owned horse was a certainty in Quokka, declaring her as the best filly in Australia. I was bit silly of Wolfie I thought, and a step way too far. The best filly claim is […]
Dismissed. I wonder if the driver of the winner got fined for a frivolous protest? The driver of the 2nd horse Wonderful To Fly should have been. Shane Young’s 2 v 1 protest was a bigger waste of time than the 1st v 2nd. RWWA is the biggest waste of time of all. https://www-harness-org-au.akamaized.net/wa/GPM31032304.mp4

God help us all. At least RWWA got the three horses from the east coast […]

Tab touch is operated by Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA). RWWA employ the Stewards, the vets, the handicappers, the staff that administer barrier […]
Dear Premier/Ministers I draw your attention to a tragic accident just recently in Tasmania in which 4 racehorses died and which we can all be thankful that none of the 5 young people travelling with them, though some seriously injured, were also killed, though they very easily may have been. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2023-01-30/people-injured-four-horses-dead-after-crash-in-northern-tasmania/101905420 An incident of this […]
Are we the only ones who reckon that the Gloucester Park race programming is so bad that it atrocious? At a time when harness racing is for various reasons rapidly losing marketing share because of it’s lack of relevance and appeal to the ordinary person, the sport has become increasingly reliant on wagering revenue for […]
