Well it has been comprehensively proven that I am a better punter than I would be bookie. 3 out of my 4 lays won, all of them easily. Lucky that our staking plan is only on win bets isn’t it? It took us forever, but we finally found one in the shape of Superstorm in […]
Yeah, yeah. I know. Before anyone starts emailing or texting about 2 lays for 2 lashings I have one thing to say. Two actually. Tortoise and Hare. And it’s a long game.
There are only two tips today, and only lays too. They’re in the same races. Back and lay boys and girls, back and lay. Race 6 – Masked Crusader The best sprinter in Australia in my view. The 1300m is no problem. He was enormous over the same trip in the Group 1 Canterbury Stakes […]

Let’s square the Cox Plate away first. I have no real idea. This race could go any which way. Mo’unga to beat Captivant and Anamoe is my wild spec. Now to the serious bets. BRISBANE Race 6 – FETCH Got into the wrong part of the track 1st up in a race where the leader […]
I was planning to write a story about how disappointing Wold Stride, this year’s 3rd place finisher in the Miracle Mile, had been when finishing last in the Maryborough Cup on Sunday afternoon. As is my custom, and as as part of my research for all stories, I went back to watch the replay a […]
