Maxwelton is a town of just 22 people located in the middle of nowhere, but there was plenty of action at the races yesterday. The QRIC sent Karl Stefanovic’s cousin Sharon out to take urine swabs from the female riders. There were a whole 2 at the meeting. The whole town and a few assorted […]
It has been pointed out to me that half of the Racing NSW Stewards Panel officiating at the Championships meeting at Royal Randwick yesterday are Queenslanders, each of whom could very well be working here for the QRIC if only it wasn’t such a dysfunctional beast of an outfit. Steve Railton used to be the […]
Kim Kelly is one of the best racing stewards in the world. You don’t become the Chief Stipe in Hong Kong if you are not. Kelly is a Queenslander who owns property on the Sunshine Coast, so when he retired from his super high paying job in Asia he should have been immediatetly grasped with […]

It’s ridiculous. Natasha Faithfull […]
Re: your story about the last race at Cairns on Tuesday. You’re an idiot Archie. Nathan Day lives in Cairns. He is 5 rides back from a collarbone/shoulder type injury. He is limited to a certain amount of rides until back to full fitness. N Day coming back from injury is naturally heavy IVO 60kg. […]
Look at the clods being thrown up on a StrathAyr track rated a Good 4. You’d have to be kidding, this isn’t supposed to happen. New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing and Auckland Thoroughbred Racing – a body created by the amalgamation of the Auckland Racing Club with the Counties Racing Club – spent almost $55 million […]
