Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying
Liz Cambage and Hall of Fame Opals guard Sandie Brondello, who stands 5 ft 7. Inside the paint basketball is a game about size. The Opals don’t have any. It doesn’t look like they will anytime soon either. We told you at the time exactly what had happened in the closed door practice session against […]
BY now you have probably heard the Shane Lewis story, or one of the terrible bit of it anyway. Former Olympic swimmer. Abused by a Swimming Australia funded elite performance coach. Told the peak body of the sport. They did nothing. Killed himself. Young kids left without a dad. It is tragic but all too […]

Is Brian To’o the best sort of bloke you’ve seen in your life or what? Wouldn’t you love your kid to marry him? He’s as handsome as hell but but not vain. Big and strong. Respectful. Funny. That’s good Liz. I don’t care for racists like yours either. When I was a little kid I used to dream about wearing the green and gold. In the back yard I played cricket in the imaginary baggy green, and footy in the green with gold vee, and when I ran I was always wearing […]
Fancy getting the sack for punching a Nigerian. How many times do their telemarketers bash us with their ripoff scams? “Hello. It’s some Aussie name that I can’t pronounce here. I am calling from the ATO”. Yeah right. I want to punch them too. What’s Liz Cambage supposed to do? Let them put shit on […]
The touts are spruiking tonight’s Paul Gallen v Lucas Browne fight as a ripper, an absolute Battle of the Titans in which a young 39-year-old former footy player turned boxer on the rise takes on a still brilliant 42-year-old former Heavyweight Champion of the World. It’s a nice story. Most fairy tales are. Here is […]
