Keith From QLD on the A.G. Hunter Cup – He Loves It, But Says the Vics Don’t

This is the greatest race on the Australian calendar and not many of the greatest horses that have ever been on the track have not won it. Like the previous Grand Circuit races I’d go through the honour roll from my earliest memories but you can look them up for yourselves, I’m too angry. I’ve been to many but I won’t be there Saturday night. I’ll be watching and I’ll unload once again because I think it is the easiest race of the year to back the winner. The best horse wins and usually because the best horse gets put into the race and it’s there’s to lose. The only pity is whilst they are in the record books forever they don’t get rewarded for it in monetary awards.
