When reviewing Stewards patrol film vision of the event it was established that TORONADO ROUGE (Jockey S McGovern) and ROGUE ‘N’ READY (Apprentice N Palmer) after being loaded last into the barriers simultaneously, had started from transposed barriers. It was confirmed that TORONADO ROUGE had started from barrier seven, and ROGUE ‘N’ READY had started from barrier six, instead of the reverse. It was noted that neither horse was disadvantaged because of this and both finished outside of the placings. The Club Starter was shown vision of the start and firmly reminded of his obligations. Apprentice N Palmer and Jockey S McGovern were also advised of their responsibility to ensure they filled their correct barriers.
