Some Men Rise, Some Men Fall – Mr Seymour AM Just Does it All

Kevin Seymour AM is a man loved and loathed in equal parts, for reasons known mainly to those who have an opinion.

I do, but it is somewhere to the right of the medal.

I like Mr Seymour, I like him a lot.

We are diametrical opposites, and met as foes not friends, but it didn’t matter, to either of us.

Kevin AM knows what I am, and I know what he is.

Well, sort of, but not really.

That sort of stuff is neither of our business.

I just like him because he loves the trots, and Clip Clop Kev tolerates my eccentricities for the same reason.

Some people who claim to be trot folk wave their hands in the air and proclaim Kevin and his even more trot loving and giving wife Kay to be yesterday’s news in the game.

These people are nobodies, who have no respect.

Mr and Mrs Seymour AM won the NSW Derby last night.

Now into their early 80’s they have struck perhaps the best local bred pacer they have ever had.

Maybe even better than my favourite Queensland based horse of the 21st century Colt Thirty One.

The people who bag the Seymours are halfwits who know nothing about the trots.

Clip Clop was only breeding to keep the industry alive.

He bought Leap To Fame, not bred it.

It was the only horse at the sale he bid on.

And he got it cheap too.

Kevin Seymour AM is a poor judge who just bought his way into harness racing.

And my name is Santa Claus too.
