Normal Transmission Will Resume Tomorrow

Apologies to readers for the absence of any stories yesterday and today.

The author has been otherwise occupied assisting two different licensees that he been asked agreed to represent  preparing documentation for appeal matters being heard this week, one in Melbourne and one in Brisbane.

Whilst we appreciate the disappointment this may cause, the simple fact is that if you were in these trainer shoes facing long periods out for things you didn’t do but couldn’t afford to hire a lawyer to give you a voice, you might want a high skilled pro-bono (free) advocate to represent you too.

Interestingly the Counsel for the other party to one of the appeals is none other than the one and only James Murdoch KC, aka the Magic Man, aka Jim.

Archie v one of QLD’s most eminent King’s Counsel hey?

His own too, just to add a bit more irony.

The crafty bugger is trying to get me knocked out in the first round by objecting to my appearance.

We will see about that.

Anyone want to bet me evens?

I will take it for plenty, even though the true odds are about 1000-1.

But they all said that about getting Ben Currie back in too.

Never underestimate a Geebung boy.

We were fighting the doctor as he pulled us out of the womb, and we were trying to take on the nurse when we landed. Why would a bloke who sports old Charlie’s endorsement in his title scare us?

Archie v the KC.

Whoopee.

The bloke’s from Sandgate.

Puh-lease.

We will let you know how we went when normal transmission resumes tomorrow.

Or if you want to know earlier just look for the bloke drinking the champers at the Polo Club tonight, the one wearing the badge that says theKaC.

Bunger boys are staunch republicans, it means something very different than a lawyers title.
