Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying
Well this is interesting. Prominent QLD trot owner and Australian Defence Force veterans advocate Josh Davine (aka Tinning) recently had his properties raided under an AFP search warrant, for reasons not publicly explained. Certain electronic devices of his were seized, laptops and computers included. Davine aka Tinning immediately lodged an objection to those that seized […]
Why are respectable international media agencies like the New York Times calling what is going on the Middle East the Iran War? It is not a war. It’s an illegal invasion involving child murder and political assassination. I’ve got not nothing against Jewish people, Muslims, other religions, Yanks or anyone else. You do your things […]
In 1952 Queen Elizabeth assumed the throne after her old man carked it. It wasn’t until later that she married a Greek and spawned Andrew the sicko. Never forget that his older brother used to have fantasies about tampons, and preferred an old boiler to Princess Di. Weird family them. Bob Marley was born today. […]
Gee menopause is hard for a bloke to cope with. It must be even harder for women. What a drag it is getting old. Oh well, it’s better than the alternative isn’t it? I think. Or at least that’s what I’m told.
Sometimes I think so. Especially when other people are too. There are no problems however that can’t be fixed. All it takes is the will. A little bit of ticker. And endurance of physical pain. It ain’t that hard really. A bit like kicking back the next day after a shocker on the punt really. […]
@elonmusk Nobody has fought harder for full release of the Epstein files and prosecutions of those who abused children more than I did, knowing full well that the legacy media, far-left propagandists and those who are actually guilty would: 1. Admit nothing 2. Deny everything 3. Make counter-accusations against me I knew that I would […]
Nobody heard him, the dead man, But still he lay moaning: I was much further out than you thought And not waving but drowning. Poor chap, he always loved larking And now he’s dead It must have been too cold for him his heart gave way, They said. Oh, no no no, it was too cold […]
Ausssie racing man and literary giant Gerald Murnane has once more missed out on winning the Nobel Prize in Literature, this time beaten by a writer from the land of Kincsem, the legendary Hungarian mare who went through her 54 start career at home and abroad unbeaten, including wins in the Goodwood Cup in England […]
Gai’s smiling ‘cos Tim Hale SC pays his bills. Shame every lawyer doesn’t share the same values. Newly elected Australian Turf Club (ATC) Chairman Tim Hale SC is, as the initials after his name suggest, an eminent barrister in his day job. As anyone who has ever had the pleasure/misfortune of having to engage counsel […]
I’m no mathematician, and neither is my friend the Librarian, but we both looked at the fields for the Launceston trots last night and thought exactly the same thing. What are the odds of one trainer having 7 horses entered in 7 races and from them pulling 5 x gate 1 and a gate 2? […]
