Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying
MELTON Race 9 No 10 – Montana Flash Here’s one at a huge price out of the Chainsaw Yole barn. Get on early at the big odds is my recommendation. RESULT We almost got a collect at $7.00 the place. Got trapped 4 back the fence and ran a very unlucky fourth. I don’t think […]
MELTON Race 9 No 10 – Montana Flash Here’s one at a huge price out of the Chainsaw Yole barn. Get on early at the big odds is my recommendation. MENANGLE Race 3 No 8 – Gliding Away It’s a very good pacer this one, and the kid in the gig Leyton Green is a […]
I have to apologise to anyone crazy brave enough to follow Merv’s tips, for I got it wrong. It was race 3 no 1, not race 1 no 3. It didn’t matter though. They both lost. Merv 34, a winner Nil. One day the drought has to break. I just hope that we are all […]
Everybody’s favourite tipster Swervin’ Mervyn in New Zealand at the moment, which might seem a very strange place to travel to in winter when you don’t ski, but isn’t at all when you own a champion pacer called Copy That and the soon to be winner of the Caulfield Guineas and perhaps even the Cox […]

Melbourne Merv tried a late rally with an each way tip on a galloper called The Prophet in Te Reo Maori. You know I think he should leave profits to me. None for 33. One day it’s gotta rain. I hope. The poor bugger is down to Marmite and toast, and I hear the bread […]
When’s Copy That coming back to the track? I have a punt drought stricken mate who needs him. https://www-harness-org-au.akamaized.net/wa/BYC27072205.mp4
Every Betfair bookies favourite tipster Melbourne Merv is back for another crack at breaking his long 31 strart drought today. Merv is clearly sick of backing other people’s losers, so today in race 5 at Bunbury he has selected his own pacer Onesmartfella, and declared it a certainty. If you take a look at it’s […]
It was a tough week at Albion Park last week, which is why we stayed out. Tonight is money for jam. It’s like shooting fish in a barrel. Here are the tips. Race 1 Quinella 1-2 Race 2 Win – no 10 Race 3 Win – no 2 Race 4 Each Way – no 12 […]
We are 4-1 up in the tipping stakes against the Victorian ‘form expert’ Jason Bonnington, and showing a 69% profit on our tips, as opposed to his negative who knows how much. Having smashed him to pieces on the punt we thought we would be kind and give him two weeks off to recover. But […]
