Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying
When it became obvious that Jerome Luai was out, possibly for the season, the Warriors all of a sudden became a huge chance of beating the Panthers and going straight into the preliminary finals. Shaun Johnson’s calf injury has cruelled that. Now the Warriors will be lucky to make it past week 2, and I […]
Please make sure that you have a quick listen to the song at the end of this story. It’s an all time classic. Like it, suck it, lump it. Here is the fact. Only one team in the past decade has won the NRL final playing with less than 3 players in the 4 man […]
Hello Archie, So here we are and the finalists are in. Who are you keen on? Here is my summation of things as they stand. Penrith – best team in the last 5 years even with a 5/8th gone for the year. Brisbane – flying with the best backline in the comp. Melbourne – best […]
Week 1 Broncos beat the Storm. Penrith smash the Warriors. Newcastle flog Canberra. Cronulla beat the Roosters, thanks to Nicho Hynes. Roosters and Raiders are out. Week 2 Knights slay the Warriors. Not just because he’s a wanker for having said that we shouldn’t have had a public holiday if the Matildas won […]
The Tigers Chairman wrote this himself, for and about himself. What a dickhead. It doesn’t take much to realise why Benji is the man to get the Tigers back on top. About 20 seconds in fact. Tim Sheens built a new career off the back of the Tigers 2005 Grand Final win. It wasn’t him […]
I don’t know how Colin McDowell does it. I’m supposed to be the sports writer here. And he gets the scoop. Good on you Col. They don’t call him the captain-coach for nothing.
I told you weeks ago that the Rugby League Player’s Association were pissing in the wind with there timid little put a sticker on your jersey and refuse to talk to the media industrial strategy didn’t I? You can’t a behemoth like Peter V’Landys with jabs. The only way to beat him is to knock […]
Every rugby league fan know who the young man standing second from the left it. It’s Peter V’Landys of course. The bloke to his left (as we are watching) is less well known to people outside of the harness racing bubble. His name is John Dumesny, the recently retired CEO of Harness Racing NSW. The […]
