I was a union official in a former life, and during that time I dealt with literally hundreds of cases in which workers were accused of serious misconduct by their employer. Without exception each of those who were found guilty of the allegations were summarily dismissed, meaning they were sacked on the spot. It’s the norm for aberrant workplace conduct of this magnitude, and arguably quite rightly too.
