A Curious Question

Is it true that Menangle Park closed the bar after the last race on Eureka night with a 10, 000 crowd on hand?

And is it also true that the thirsty crowds descended on the nearby club owned Menangle Country Club only to find it also closed?

I really hope it’s not true, but a local trainer/driver who attended guaranteed us that it is.
