The word is that former QLD Senior Steward Neil Finnigan, currently in charge of harness racing integrity in Tasmania, has been appointed to the Chief Steward role in Queensland to replace David Farguharson, who was summarily dismissed a few months back for reasons that remain unknown. Finnigan’s return to the Sunshine State will be warmly welcomed by harness racing participants.
