There are more than a few people down the Riverina way who are questioning the decision to abandon the Leeton harness race meeting last night, with many describing it as premature, and others simply claiming that spooked by the weather a thousand miles to the north, the officials just jumped the gun.
When you look at this video taken 5 minutes after the decision was made to call the meeting off it’s hard to disagree with them.
This doesn’t look like a track that couldn’t be raced on to me.
