There are strange whispers coming from all parts of the State that Racing Queensland has written a highly unusual letter to the Cairns Jockey Club requesting (demanding?) that club Chairman Ton Hedley vacate his elected role forthwith, or else RQ will withhold funding of up to $200 000 from the club.
