Lest We Forget Our Heroes at Xmas Time – Harry Doyle, Great Indigenous Australian

Uncle Milty at RSL on Armistice Day, pleading his case to the President for support for his campaign for the award of service medals denied to his Great Grand-Uncle Henry Doyle, on the basis of his race. It seems a sadly common theme in the services this dreaded racism, both in the military and in the Queensland Police. Good on Uncle for his activism in trying to bring a stop it. Maybe one day they will give his his long overdue medals too.
