The Auckland Trotting Club are indeed buying a new property to build a replacement training centre for Franklin Park that it just sold off to pay its huge debts from the failed property development that was supposed to make the club rich into eternity from the sell off of surplus land at Alexandra Park (nobody mentioned at the time that selling off Franklin was part of the deal).
