A Four-Legged Lottery

A Laura Borealis Lights Up the Northern Rivers Sky!

We told you a couple of days ago about Laura Cheshire’s long awaited return to the saddle at Ballina today after more and a year and a half on the sidelines due to injury.

Well good things come to those who wait, and real good things happen to those who are good.

Guess what Santa brought Laura for Xmas?

A $10 winner on her first day back!

You bloody beauty!

To make it even better the winner was trained by Laura’s long-time supporter Angie Plumb, one of the nicest people in racing, from one of Brisbane’s oldest and most famous racing families too.

And how’s this for simpatico?

Xuannu is named after Juitian Xuannu, the Chinese Goddess of war, sex and longevity, a women who is said to have supernatural, magical powers, and the ability to turn the stars surrounding the Big Dipper into warriors.

The Aurora (Laura) Borealis are the northern lights that appear in the sky at Xmas time, and light up the world.

Today Laura has lit up ours.

Welcome back with a big winning bang champ!

May there be a million more in store.
